What this course covers
This is the course everything else in Learn.GTArsenals assumes you’ve either taken or already know. It builds the vocabulary and mental models used throughout the academy: what a network actually is, how the OSI and TCP/IP models describe it, how devices are identified and addressed, and how the devices on a network (switches, routers, firewalls, access points) each do a distinct job.
You won’t configure anything vendor-specific here — that starts in MikroTik RouterOS 7 Fundamentals. This course is deliberately vendor-neutral, because the concepts apply everywhere.
Who this is for
Someone who can use a computer comfortably but has never had to think about how two computers actually talk to each other.
